Questions

Good to know.

When should I book my pageant headshots?

As soon as you know your competition date. Program book photos are often due weeks before the competition, so plan to shoot at least a month ahead of your deadline.

What should I wear for my pageant headshots?

Solid, rich colors that flatter your skin tone and a neckline that frames your face. Skip busy patterns and logos. We’ll help you choose your outfits before the shoot.

Do you photograph teen contestants?

Yes. Teen contestants are welcome, and a parent or guardian is always welcome at the session.

Can you match my competition photo requirements?

Yes. Send us the specs from your director and we’ll size your images to match.

How much retouching do you do?

Natural retouching. Blemishes, stray hairs and distractions get cleaned up, and your skin still looks like skin. Judges want to meet you, not a filter.

Do you do hair and makeup?

We don’t do hair and makeup in house, but we’re happy to recommend great pageant hair and makeup artists. Just ask when you book.

Can I add more images later?

Yes. We keep all of your images, so you can come back for more anytime, for your next pageant or anything else.

Which pageant systems do you work with?

All of them: Miss America and Miss America’s Teen, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, Mrs. pageants and independent systems. Local, state and national titleholders.
