It is very rare that I actually get to ATTEND a wedding. Before this elopement in Playa Del Carmen Mexico, I actually cannot remember the last one I went to that I wasn’t hired to be at. Mostly because my weekends are busy shooting weddings so even if I wanted to be a guest its normally not possible. However, Danielle is also a photographer up in Calgary Canada. She owns Abbey Raine Photography. Well not only did I get the privilege of attended her wedding, she actually asked me to officiate it! (I know, I know… she’s pretty brave right?) Well I put on my nicest suit (I actually bought a new one) and was on my best behavior. After the official business was over, I grabbed my camera and went back into what I know best… taking photos. I actually got a bit nervous because after the ceremony, I really didn’t know what to do besides take photos… so it felt comfortable for me.
